Humanities Teacher – Andover Start Date: September | Full-Time, Permanent Teaching Personnel is working closely with a forward‑thinking secondary school in Andover, Hampshire, to recruit a Humanities Teacher (History & Geography) for a September start. This role is ideal for a qualified Humanities Teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, building strong relationships with students, and supporting young people to achieve their full potential. The Role As a Humanities Teacher, you will: Deliver pre‑planned Geography and History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students Create a positive, purposeful classroom environment in line with behaviour policies Maintain high expectations for learning, progress, and behaviour Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and additional learning needs where required Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to raise attainment Work collaboratively with teaching, pastoral, and support staff to promote inclusion and personal development The Ideal Humanities Teacher We are keen to hear from candidates who have: Experience teaching secondary‑aged students Confidence teaching Humanities (History and/or Geography) The ability to adapt teaching styles to support diverse learning needs SEN experience or a genuine willingness to support students with additional needs Strong classroom management and communication skills A positive, enthusiastic approach and a commitment to supporting young people Why Apply Through Teaching Personnel?
