Powder Coater

Job Title: Experienced Powder Coater Location: Haverhill Job Type: Temporary to Permanent or Permanent Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy and well-established paint shop, utilising up-to-date Gema powder coating equipment, both manual and automated. Main Purpose of the Role To prepare and powder coat a variety of metal surfaces to a high standard, ensuring efficient operation within a fast-paced paint shop environment. Roles & Responsibilities * Set up and operate powder coating guns (manual and automated Gema systems) * Prepare metal surfaces prior to coating * Apply powder coating to a range of products to required specifications * Work on an online track system within the paint shop * Maintain quality standards and ensure consistent finishes * Follow health & safety procedures at all times Additional Responsibilities * Support team members across the paint shop when required * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area * Assist with general paint shop duties as needed Experience, Skills & Qualifications * Minimum 1 year experience in powder coating (required) * Minimum 1 year experience working with an online track system (required) * Strong knowledge of powder coating gun setup * Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Flexible and reliable approach to work Working Pattern & Benefits * Hours: 7:30am - 4pm Mon-Thurs, Friday 7am - 2pm * Benefits: Company pension, life insurance, on-site parking, profit sharing, overtime rates, full PPE provided * Salary: £26,360 – £30,420 per year (dependent on experience) Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance and IT.
