Specialist Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – Year 3) Location: Stockport Pay Rate: £90–£110 per day Start Date: Immediate Duration: Until the end of the academic year Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with the resilience, empathy, and behaviour management skills to make a genuine difference to a child’s school experience? This full-time role will involve supporting a Year 3 pupil on a 1:1 basis who requires consistency, patience, and a strong adult relationship in order to succeed. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting Strong behaviour management skills Good understanding of SEMH and attachment-informed practice A calm, resilient approach and the ability not to take behaviours personally Confidence supporting children with communication needs The patience and consistency needed to build a positive long-term relationship Why Choose Cover People?
