Applications Engineer – Tendering & Client Engagement We’re recruiting for an Applications Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on delivering high-quality project solutions and winning new business through effective tendering. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the commercial side of engineering and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The Role You’ll be responsible for managing project opportunities from initial enquiry through to tender submission and delivery. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and submitting high-quality technical proposals Managing and tracking project opportunities through internal systems Building long-term relationships with contractors and clients Identifying new project opportunities and contributing to pipeline growth Supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle, from tender to completion Monitoring forecasts and prioritising high-value opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking For Experience in an Applications Engineer or similar technical role Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and layouts Commercial awareness with a proactive, results-driven mindset Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working independently and within a teamWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary (£30,000–£40,000 depending on experience) 25 days holiday + additional benefits package Training and development opportunities Flexible working environment
