Maintenance Operations Stores Contact Location: Barlborough, Chesterfield (5 days onsite) Rate: £120 per day Duration: 6 Months IR35: Inside IR35 Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to support the Maintenance Operations Stores and Workshop Team Leader and the Maintenance Operations Manager in delivering a world‑class service to customers through effective parts and warehouse management at the Barlborough Stores. The role focuses on maximising team effectiveness and productivity, ensuring all contractual SLAs and efficiency metrics are met to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The post holder will liaise closely with peers across Enterprise Field Service to support and implement continuous improvement strategies. You will hold responsibility for the Barlborough Stores warehouse and parts functions, enabling the business to consistently meet contractual customer SLAs. Key Responsibilities Liaise with the Maintenance Operations Manager and Stores & Workshop Team Leader to control Unity and internal stock requirements. Work directly with other departments across the business to ensure clear, effective communication is maintained. Monitor training needs and recommend manufacturer and internal accreditations as required. Develop strong working relationships with Service Desk teams, Field Engineering teams, and other operational departments. Actively support team morale through clear, proactive, and effective communication.Skills & Experience Ability to support Team Leader and Line Manager through periods of transformational change. Strong logical thinking skills with the ability to process complex ideas and understand different perspectives. Commercially aware with a clear understanding of operational impact. Confident decision‑maker, able to take well‑evaluated risks and act decisively. Acts with integrity and takes full responsibility for personal actions and responses
