Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer – Livingston | Up to £60,000 Global Recruitment is hiring on behalf of our client for a Controls Engineer to join their Production Engineering team. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge automation, SCADA/HMI systems, and smart manufacturing technology! What You’ll Do: * Design, program, and improve control systems on new & legacy equipment. * Configure SCADA/HMI systems and optimize machine performance. * Troubleshoot complex issues and support manufacturing teams. * Collaborate across sites on projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements. What We’re Looking For: * BEng in Electrical/Controls Engineering or similar. * PLC, HMI & SCADA experience (Mitsubishi preferred). * Knowledge of VFD/VSD drives, EthernetIP, Modbus, CC-Link. * Proven experience in live manufacturing environments. * Excellent problem-solving & communication skills. Bonus: 5+ years’ experience in Controls Engineering.
