SEN Class Teacher - Mainstream Primary South London - Wandsworth Teacher Pay Scale (MPS 1 - MPS 6 – Dependant on experience) September Start We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers to join the Starfyn Education Family in a long term, full time teaching role within a supportive and inclusive school setting. One of our partner schools caters for pupils aged 3–11, including a specialist provision supporting children with additional needs such as Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autism (ASD), and learning difficulties. The Role Employment Type – Permanent / Long Term Days Required – Monday to Friday (Full Time) Start Date – September As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils of all abilities, and creating a classroom environment where every child can succeed. The Ideal Candidate will: To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have experience teaching within a primary or SEN setting (desirable but not essential) Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs Have strong classroom management and behaviour management skills Be confident in planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons Be able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, ASD, or additional needs Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeingYour Main Duties: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the curriculum Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider staff Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all timesWhy Apply?
