Occupational Therapist


Blue Skies Education are working in partnership with a leading specialist education provider that is seeking to appoint a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team in Barking. This is a unique opportunity to work within a therapeutic education setting, supporting children and young people aged 7–19 who are unable to access mainstream education. The provision supports pupils with complex needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, and those who have experienced significant trauma and adverse childhood experiences. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is committed to making a meaningful difference. You will deliver high-quality assessments and interventions, supporting pupils both within educational settings and in community environments across London and Kent. You will play a key role within a collaborative therapy team, working closely with teaching and inclusion staff to create a consistent therapeutic approach. This includes advising on learning environments, supporting sensory development, and promoting a whole-school culture of therapeutic practice through training and staff development. This role requires a resilient and reflective practitioner who can work both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, supporting some of the most vulnerable young people in education.
