Service Engineer

We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to support the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of systems and components. This is a hands-on technical role working within a specialist environment where precision, quality, and problem solving are essential. You will play a key part in ensuring products meet strict specifications and customer requirements, while also contributing to continuous improvement across manufacturing processes and product design. What’s on Offer: Job type: Full-time, permanent Location: Eastbourne Salary: Competitive Key Responsibilities Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings, CAD models, and specifications Support assembly and testing of systems, ensuring compliance with performance standards Carry out fault finding, problem solving, and root cause analysis on design and manufacturing issues Ensure all work complies with health & safety and quality standards Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding technical requirements and specifications Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and product design Travel to client sites when required to support installation, servicing, or technical support activities  Requirements Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Strong problem solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)  Our Ideal Candidate Hands-on and technically minded Detail focused with a strong commitment to quality Confident working independently and as part of a team Proactive approach to problem solving Willingness to travel to client sites when required  How to Apply If you are an experienced or aspiring Service Engineer looking to work in a specialist engineering environment, we’d love to hear from you.
