Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Oxfordshire Rate: £45-£53 per hour (Inside IR35) Contract Length: Initial 6 months Start: ASAP An innovative engineering organisation based in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join them on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high‑precision mechanical assemblies within a technically challenging environment. Key Responsibilities Mechanical design of complex assemblies and precision‑engineered components Producing detailed CAD models and engineering drawings Applying GD&T to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements Collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams Key Requirements Strong background in mechanical engineering with significant hands‑on design experience Proven experience working on complex mechanical assemblies Solid knowledge of precision engineering and GD&T Expert‑level experience using Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) Ability to work effectively within a contract, project‑driven environmentIf you are an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong Creo skills and are looking for your next contract role, please apply with your CV and I will be in touch to discuss further.
