MES Engineer – PAS-X (Contract | Cork | Onsite)

Job Title: MES Engineer - PAS-X Location: Cork, Ireland (Onsite) Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35) Rate: £60-£80 per hour Overview We are seeking an experienced MES Engineer with hands-on PAS-X expertise to support a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Cork. This is a fully onsite role, requiring candidates who are able and willing to travel as needed. Key Responsibilities Configure and develop electronic batch records (eBR) using PAS-X Perform workflow configuration using MBR Designer and related PAS-X tools Support validation activities including FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ Assist with integration between MES and systems such as SAP and DeltaV/PLCs Provide shopfloor MES support during live batch execution Troubleshoot workflow, master data, and system interface issues Support change control processes, deviations, and SOP documentation Contribute to system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements 4-8 years of MES experience within pharma or biotech environments Strong hands-on experience with PAS-X configuration Proven experience in eBR design and workflow configuration Experience supporting MES in live manufacturing environments Good understanding of GMP environments and regulatory frameworks Familiarity with validation processes (CSV lifecycle, IQ/OQ, FAT/SAT) Knowledge of ISA-88 / ISA-95 principles is advantageous Additional Information This role is fully onsite in Cork Candidates must be able to travel and be present on-site as required Competitive, negotiable hourly rate based on experience and availability
