Location: Barry Position: General Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Salary: £92.95 per day Start Date: As soon as vetting checks complete  Overview Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Barry. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a positive and engaging classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons Work with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning Provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation Requirements Experience working with children (school-based or transferable experience such as coaching, childcare, or tutoring) is desirable Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to obtain one – support provided) Safeguarding Level 2 (or willingness to complete – support provided) What We Offer Competitive daily rate of £93.95 Full-time, consistent work with opportunities for long-term placements Ongoing training and development opportunities Dedicated support from your Teaching Personnel consultant Opportunities to gain valuable classroom experience How to Apply Please submit your CV along with a short cover note outlining your interest and any relevant experience.
