You will act as the primary interface for customers on quality matters, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and driving excellence through APQP, PPAP, and structured problem-solving methodologies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to support New Product Introduction (NPI), manage customer concerns, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to ensure long-term quality performance. Key Responsibilities Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities in line with IATF 16949 Prepare and submit PPAP documentation, ensuring compliance and timely approvals Manage customer complaints and warranty claims as the primary quality contact Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Support cross-functional problem-solving and containment activities Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including audit support Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Approval to Ship processes Analyse quality data using SPC and statistical tools to drive improvement Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer-specific requirements Liaise with suppliers on quality performance and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer within manufacturing (automotive preferred) Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements Proven experience with APQP and PPAP processes Hands-on experience with core quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans) Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capability Experience managing customer quality concerns and reporting (e.g. 8D) Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentAdditional Information This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation offering long-term career progression within a technically advanced manufacturing environment.
