Hands on Production Manager - Large Format Graphics

(SC3650) Hands-On Production Manager - Large Format Graphics NORTH LONDON Up to £40K (Depending on Experience) 25 days holiday + bank holidays (Save some for Christmas Close) Hours: 9-5:30pm / Monday - Friday We are working with a large format digital print company based in North London. They are currently looking to recruit a hands-on Production Manager, 1-2 direct reports to join their team. This is a practical role requiring strong experience across print production, pre-press, and finishing, with responsibility for managing workflow and meeting tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Operating large format printers (Mimaki UJV55 & JV33) and plotters Pre-press and artwork setup using Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop - Mac) RIP software operation (Rasterlink & Shiraz) and proof preparation Machine maintenance and coordination of service support Colour matching and quality control Stock control and ordering of materials (vinyl, ink, hardware, etc.) Scheduling and prioritising workload, liaising with account managers Hands-on finishing: laminating (Seal 62"), mounting, vinyl cutting/weeding Banner and SEG finishing (including sewing) Basic fabrication: frames, extrusions, and lightbox assembly (LED systems) Packing, dispatch, and courier coordination Weekly admin including job costing and supplier invoice sign-off Requirements: Proven experience in large format print production Strong knowledge of Mimaki machines and RIP software Confident with Adobe Creative Suite Hands-on approach with finishing and workshop tools Good organisation and ability to work to deadlines If you would like to apply, please email me a copy of your updated CV
