Business Development Manager (Building Services) 📍 Sussex | Full-Time | Permanent We are currently working with a well-established and growing building services and HVAC specialist to recruit a Business Development Manager to support continued expansion across the South East. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual to join a reputable business with a strong presence across multiple sectors, including education, leisure, residential, and industrial environments. The Company Our client is a respected provider of maintenance, installation, and commissioning services across commercial gas systems, HVAC, and wider building services. With a strong reputation for quality and compliance, they deliver tailored solutions backed by industry accreditations and a commitment to high service standards. Their client base is diverse, and they offer long-term service contracts alongside reactive and project-based work. The Role As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth while developing existing client relationships. This is a client-facing role involving a mix of lead generation, account management, and strategic sales, working closely with internal technical and service teams. Key responsibilities include: Identifying and securing new business opportunities across target sectors Managing and growing existing client relationships Generating leads and building a strong sales pipeline Preparing proposals, tenders, and quotations Negotiating contracts and closing deals Conducting client meetings and site visits Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations Supporting overall sales strategy and business growth objectives The Candidate We are looking for a motivated and commercially aware individual with experience in business development within the building services or HVAC sector. Requirements: Proven experience in business development or sales Background in building services, HVAC, gas, or maintenance services (highly desirable) Strong track record of winning new business and hitting targets Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Full UK driving licence and willingness to travelDesirable: Background in Business, Marketing, or a related field Experience working with service contracts or maintenance agreements The Package Salary £60,000 - £70,000 15% bonus 8% pension £6,000 car allowance 25 days holiday Why Apply?
