Static Building Services Engineer

Multi-skilled Building Services Engineer / Mechanical Engineer Bristol ( 80% on site and 20% mobile when required ) * Salary up to £46,000 * 40hr week * 33 days holiday * Van provided with fuel card * Sick pay Having been established for over 50 years specialising within the Commercial catering, refrigeration, heating and ventilation sector, we have served our customers to ensure their unique needs are met! We work closely with many partners to offer all our clients reactive callout services and planned maintenance tailored to meet your specific needs. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer, to be based at one of our main care home sites. * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and building fabric systems * Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of equipment including HVAC systems, pumps, plumbing systems, and associated controls * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant health & safety regulations and industry standards * Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues before they escalate into major faults * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation * Liaise with site management and clients to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance and repair works * Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades when required * Carry out basic electrical fault finding and repairs in line with qualifications (17th/18th Edition) * Undertake minor building fabric works including carpentry, repairs, and general upkeep * Respond promptly to emergency callouts and breakdowns, ensuring effective resolution Essential Qualifications / Experience: * FGAS * 17/18th Edition * Experience with Controls/Pumps / Air Conditioning/Plumbing etc * Carpentry experience * Full Driver’s Licence
