Job Title Power Station Operative – No Experience Needed Summary Join our team at Heysham 2 Nuclear Power Station as a Power Station Operative for a 10-12 week contract starting, or slightly before, September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking first steps onto the power station, with full training and security clearance provided. Ideal for candidates looking for hands-on work with the possibility of future opportunities. Salary (including holiday pay) £16.68/hour for Basic hours, overtime working earns up to £33.35/hour  Location and Working Pattern Heysham, United Kingdom Full-time, 10-12 week contract Shift pattern: 10–12 hour shifts, 6 days on/1 day off (day and night shifts available) Client Overview Our client is a leading provider of facilities management services across EDF Nuclear sites and plays a vital role in delivering safe, efficient outage support. Responsibilities Carry out duties on pre-planned work orders to the required standards Perform a range of onsite duties including: Fire watching Industrial cleaning Confined space guardian activities Escorting personnel on site Facilities tasks such as delivering goods to departments and managing deliveries Maintain excellent communication with supervisors, the client, and team members Ensure compliance with safety and site procedures at all timesMust-have Requirements Ability to follow instructions and work safely in an industrial setting Good communication skills Willingness to work long shifts during the outage period Ability to pass CTC clearance (including DBS check and 3-year employment history verification) Pass a pre-contract drug and alcohol testNice-to-have Skills Previous experience in a clean or industrial environmentBenefits CTC clearance fully processed and supported by NRL CCNSG Safety PassportApply Now If you’re ready to take on this short-term opportunity and gain valuable experience in the nuclear sector, apply today and our dedicated team will guide you through the vetting process.
