Commercial Gas Engineer

Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Essex & East London (Mobile role) Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + benefits Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a reputable and growing Facilities Management company operating across Essex & East London. This is a mobile role, working across a portfolio of commercial sites, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems * Service, repair, and maintain commercial boilers, heating systems, and associated plant * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current gas safety regulations and company standards * Complete accurate job reports and documentation * Liaise with clients on-site and provide a high level of customer service * Participate in an on-call rota where required Requirements: * Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer within a facilities management or building services environment * Relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, etc.) * Full UK driving licence (essential) * Valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively * Good communication and customer-facing skills Package & Benefits: * Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience * Company van & fuel card * Overtime opportunities * Pension scheme * Annual leave + bank holidays * Ongoing training and development About the Role: This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and well-established FM business with a strong presence across Essex & East London.
