Job Title: Head of Business Development Location: London Work style: Hybrid - 1 day in the office Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + Commission The Opportunity This is not a typical sales role.This is a strategic leadership position focused on: Building a long-term project pipeline Influencing projects at early design stages Establishing key client relationships across the UK construction marketYou will have a direct impact on the company's growth trajectory over the next 3-5 years. Key Responsibilities Lead business development strategy across the UK façade market Build and manage relationships with developers, Tier 1 contractors, and consultants Identify and secure early-stage opportunities (RIBA Stages 1-3) Drive Design Assist / Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) engagement Develop a structured pipeline with £150M+ visibility Support bid strategy alongside technical and commercial teams Expand presence across London and key regional cities Build a strong and active client network Secure multiple live project opportunities Position the business as a recognised player in the UK façade market Requirements 10+ years' experience in the UK construction / façade / building envelope sector Strong network with developers and/or Tier 1 contractors Solid understanding of UK procurement and project lifecycle Experience in pre-construction, ECI, or design-stage engagement Commercially driven with strong negotiation and relationship skills Experience with unitised curtain wall systems is highly advantageous
