MOBILE Fire Engineer - 3 Vacancies (North London x2, South-east London - Lewisham x1) Type: Permanent Salary: £40,630 per annum Realistic earnings: £45,000-£50,000+ per annum with overtime, travel time and call-out payments Overview We are seeking experienced Fire Service & Maintenance Engineers to join a growing, high‑performing team. These roles focus on planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs and compliance across life‑safety systems within residential and commercial environments. Each day offers a new setting, and engineers are trusted to represent the business professionally while delivering exceptional customer service.There are three positions available: * Two roles based in North London * One role based in South‑East London (Lewisham) These vacancies offer strong long‑term stability, excellent earning potential and clear opportunities for progression. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, fault‑find and commission systems including: Fire alarms, automatic opening vents (AOVs), CCTV, access control, warden call systems and fire extinguishers Complete accurate engineer service reports Identify and report system deficiencies or deviations Maintain and report on emergency lighting and associated equipment Conduct regular van stock checks and liaise with technical and procurement teams Maintain a strong Health & Safety mindset, reporting risks promptly Aim for first‑time fixes wherever possibleIdeal Candidate Profile Previous experience working with analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems FIA (or equivalent) training to BS5839‑1 Fundamentals Understanding of BS5839 (Part 1 and Part 6) Good IT literacy Full UK driving licence Flexible approach to working hours (minimum 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri) with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through overtime, weekend work and participation in an out‑of‑hours rotaWhat You Can Expect in Return Base salary £40,630, with engineers typically earning £45,000-£50,000+ due to regular overtime and additional payments Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate Company vehicle and fuel card Phone, tablet, full test equipment and power tools provided 22 days' holiday plus UK bank holidays (30 days total) Ongoing training and career development Access to a comprehensive benefits package including: Employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, mental health resources, employee discount scheme, pension scheme and death‑in‑service insurancePLEASE NOTE - All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
