Production & Process Specialist Cheshire Competitive Salary The Role We're working with a well-established manufacturer of specialist materials supplying global high-tech industries. They're looking for a Production & Process Specialist to support day-to-day operations while driving process improvements across the site. This is a varied, hands-on role combining production support, materials coordination, and continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Support production with material flow, stock control, and process efficiency • Introduce new products and maintain product specifications • Ensure product quality meets customer and technical requirements • Analyse shop floor data and produce reports to support improvements • Lead and support continuous improvement / lean activities • Investigate process issues and support trials and development work • Maintain accurate stock data and support stock control processes • Assist with shipping documentation and dispatch activities • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards About You • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or similar • Experience within a manufacturing or process environment • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma (desirable) Why Apply? • Join a specialist manufacturer with global reach • Work on technically interesting materials and processes • Opportunity to make a real impact on operations and improvements Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
