Machine Operator

We’re hiring for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Stockport offering a stable, full-time role with a strong hourly rate and a clean, well-organised working environment. This is a hands-on position working with modern packing machinery, ideal for someone from a production background who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and keeping things running smoothly. What’s on offer? * £13.45 per hour * Mon – Fri | 8:30am – 4:30pm * 40-hour week (paid lunch included) * 22 days holiday (+ bank holidays) * Company sick pay scheme * Employee assistance programme (including GP access) * Ongoing training and development What will you be doing as a Machine Operator? * Operating packing machinery to produce finished goods * Setting up and adjusting machines to ensure quality and efficiency * Carrying out quality checks (weights, seals, labelling) * Troubleshooting minor issues and escalating where needed * Packing, labelling, and palletising finished products * Supporting stock control and materials management * Maintaining a clean and organised working environment * Completing records in line with quality and safety procedures What will you need? * Previous experience in production or manufacturing * Experience operating machinery (ideal but not essential) * Good attention to detail and quality standards * Reliable, organised, and able to work in a team * Comfortable with manual handling and physical work Interested?
