Role Overview This is a hands-on, dynamic role split between the office and a busy shop floor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate day-to-day production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Communicate directly with customers regarding delivery schedules and ensure deadlines are consistently met * Plan and allocate materials effectively to support production demands * Monitor productivity levels and implement improvements where necessary * Lead, motivate, and manage shop floor employees to maintain high performance and morale * Ensure all production processes meet quality and safety standards * Interpret and work from technical drawings to support manufacturing accuracy * Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency * Balance time effectively between office-based planning and hands-on shop floor management Requirements * Proven experience in a production management role, ideally within roofing, cladding, or a related manufacturing environment * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow management * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills * Strong communication skills, particularly in customer-facing situations * Experience managing teams and driving productivity improvements * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
