Engineering Supervisor / Mobile Engineering Supervisor Role Overview VAN AND FUEL CARD PROVIDED Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and support of a multi‑disciplinary team of engineers operating across numerous mobile sites within the London area. The role focuses on ensuring consistent service delivery, compliance, and operational efficiency through effective leadership, coordination, and communication. Reporting to the Contract or Account Manager, the postholder will act as a key point of contact between site teams, helpdesk functions, and contract management, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered at all times. Main Duties & Responsibilities * Manage and support a team of engineers across multiple mobile sites * Ensure planned and reactive works are delivered efficiently and to the required standard * Liaise closely with Helpdesk and Contract Management teams to ensure effective service delivery * Supervise daily workloads and allocate tasks appropriately * Support engineers with technical queries, site issues, and escalations * Oversee contractor and specialist activity where required * Maintain strong client relationships in this highly client‑facing role * Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and company procedures * Monitor site activity and manage M&E emergencies when they arise * Ensure site logbooks and statutory documentation are kept fully up to date * Compile and submit monthly performance and compliance reports to the client * Raise quotations and submit for approval * Assist with work orders (W/O’s) and basic budgetary control Person SpecificationEssential Previous supervisory experience managing engineers and specialist subcontractors Experience using CAFM systems Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace Strong knowledge of M&E and fabric building services Proven ability to manage and respond to M&E emergencies Excellent communication skills Strong organisational and administrative ability City & Guilds technical qualification in a relevant trade or demonstrable experience in one or more of the following: Electrical Mechanical HVAC Building Services Plumbing Combustion systems Desirable IOSH or NEBOSH qualification Authorised Person experience (Electrical / Mechanical / Confined Spaces / Working at Height / LOTO) Electrical or multi‑skilled background Experience with raising quotations and basic cost control Experience training and developing engineers IT & Reporting Skills Good IT skills (intermediate level) including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience compiling monthly client reports Accurate record‑keeping and documentation management Benefits 24/7 Virtual GP access for you and your immediate family Mental health support and life‑event counselling Get Fit wellbeing programme Financial and legal support services Cycle‑to‑work scheme Access to an employee rewards platform offering: Discounts, cashback, gift cards, and exclusive offers Health, family, finance, and work‑related resources Online chat or telephone crisis‑support services INDENG
