HGV Technician – Aberdeen Day Shift | Mon–Fri | £17–£22 per hour + Benefits We’re recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy, well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Aberdeen. Also open to LGV/Light Vehicle Technicians looking to upskill via a supported Light-to-Heavy conversion programme. What’s on Offer * £17–£22 per hour (depending on experience) + overtime + quarterly bonus (up to 5%) * Up to 33 days holiday * Pension, health plan & life insurance * Retail discounts (for you, family & friends) * Enhanced maternity, paternity & adoption leave * Ongoing training & career development Hours * Mon–Thurs: 7:30am – 4:00pm * Fri: 7:30am – 3:00pm The Role * Service, maintain & repair HGVs * Diagnose faults across key systems (engine, brakes, suspension, etc.) * Complete job cards & ensure high standards of work * Support breakdowns & road test vehicles (if licensed) * Assist with workshop upkeep and junior staff support Requirements * Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance * HGV experience or Light Vehicle background with desire to progress * Strong diagnostic skills & team-focused attitude Great opportunity to step into a secure, long-term role with real progression.
