Estimator

An excellent opportunity is now available for an Estimator to join a well-established Main Construction Contractor based in Glasgow. They work across a variety of sectors such as Community, Health/ Care and Education and always complete projects to the highest of standards whether it is a new build, conservation or refurbishment project. It is important that you possess Main Contract Estimating experience and have worked across multiple sectors for this role. Responsibilities: * Compile bids and tenders for new work. * Identify and recommend ways to reduce costs. * Prepare and analyse cost estimates. * Calculate costs of materials, transport, labour and equipment hire. * Work with subcontractors and obtain quotes. * Collate detailed price lists. * Follow all health and safety requirements. * Present bids or estimates to clients when required. * Prepare and submit final quotations for work.
