Site Engineer - Steel/Reinforced Concrete

Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major section of the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s largest and most high-profile infrastructure developments. Key Responsibilities: Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project specifications Ensuring all engineering activities comply with quality and safety standards Managing and interpreting technical drawings and site documentation Supporting site management with daily operations and progress reporting Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme Requirements: Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on large infrastructure or civil engineering projects Strong background in steel reinforced concrete (RC works) – essential Proficient in setting out using relevant equipment (e.g. GPS, total station) Solid understanding of health & safety regulations on site CSCS card (essential) Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
