Warehouse Manager

Job Title: Warehouse Manager Location: Basildon Pay: £45,000-£50,000 Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join a dynamic and growing Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain company based in Basildon, Essex. This role will require working across two different sites. Duties: Lead, manage, and develop warehouse and logistics operations across two different sites Oversee inbound and outbound transport planning, including scheduling and coordination Ensure safe and compliant handling of hazardous goods, temperature-controlled shipments, and general cargo Maintain and promote high health and safety standards Support cost control, budgeting, and long-term logistics strategy planning Step into operational duties when required to support the wider teamRequirements: Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential) Proven management experience within the freight forwarding industry (essential) Hands-on approach with a willingness to support operational tasks Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills A proactive and positive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement A degree or professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (beneficial)Hours & Pay: £45,000-£50,000 per year Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pmBenefits: Company pension scheme 23 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 2 years of service) Free on-site parkingIf you are interested in this Warehouse Manager role, please apply with your most recent CV.
