Service Manager – Kidderminster Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum OTE: Up to £70,000 per year Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 18:00 Contract: Permanent Earning Potential (OTE) Basic Salary: Up to £55,000 per year Realistic OTE: Up to £70,000 per year (including performance-related earnings) Vehicle Allowance: Company car or car allowance provided Additional: Mobile phone and laptop included Overview We're looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Manager who is passionate about leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and inspiring those around them to achieve their best. You'll have a strong background in the service area of the automotive industry and will drive operational excellence across the site, working with departmental managers. Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire your team to deliver the highest levels of customer service Monitor compliance with statutory regulations and ensure quality standards are met Control cost management for the department Work with departmental managers to ensure a joined-up, positive approach to teamwork Ensure site and departmental KPIs are met through robust leadership Lead and develop apprentices Manage, coach, and motivate employees to ensure high quality of staff Establish business objectives and personal development goals, monitoring performance Build strong working relationships with customers Perform analysis to identify areas of weakness and targeted marketing activity Ensure all health and safety policies are followed and upheld Promote the development of your team What You'll Need NVQ in Motor Vehicle Mechanics (preferred) Extensive motor industry experience in a service position at management level Extensive knowledge of operational running of a workshop and business administration Exceptionally organised – leads by example and knows how to delegate Thorough knowledge of customer and market analysis, marketing initiatives, and customer satisfaction Experienced in people management, particularly achieving through teams Leadership style should be highly visible and hands-on Enthusiasm and continuous improvement of product knowledge Ability to drive business performance through strong customer relationships Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment Computer literate and confident using technology DBS check required prior to joining Benefits Include Company car or car allowance Extra day off for your birthday 23 days annual leave + bank holidays Four times death in service benefit Internal Mentorship programme Auto-enrolment pension Enhanced maternity and paternity policies Access to wellness programme with 24hr GP access Mental Health First Aiders Reward and recognition programmes Annual appraisals and progression opportunities Manufacturer and in-house training Long service recognition Branded uniform Don't tick every box?
