Electrician - Test & Inspection (Social Housing) Location: Greater Manchester Rate: £25 per hour CIS Contract Type: Temporary (12+ months) Start: Immediate Transport: Own vehicle required (van preferred) About the Role We're looking for an experienced and reliable Electrician to carry out EICR test and inspection works across social housing properties throughout Greater Manchester. This is a long‑term opportunity offering consistent workload, straightforward scheduling, and supportive management. Alongside testing, you'll also complete remedial works, including but not limited to: Installation of extractor fans Installation and replacement of smoke/heat alarms Minor electrical repairs and upgrades Key Responsibilities Conduct EICRs to a high professional standard Diagnose faults and complete required remedial works Ensure all work complies with current regulations Maintain accurate documentation and certification Communicate effectively with tenants and office staff Travel between properties across Greater Manchester Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation 2391 Or (2394/2395) Inspection & Testing qualification 18th Edition (BS 7671) Own Testing kit & calibration certificates Own transport - van preferred due to equipment Strong knowledge of domestic electrical systems Experience working in social housing (preferred but not essential) Professional, reliable, and able to work independently What's on Offer £25 per hour, paid weekly Long‑term, ongoing work Consistent volume of properties Supportive team and clear job scheduling If interested, please contact Josh on (phone number removed)
