Brick Workshop Assistant

Job Title: Brickwork Workshop Assistant Location: Wiltshire Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37 hours per week) Salary: £25,304 Per annum Overview Support the delivery of practical Brickwork training by maintaining workshops, assisting learners, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain clean, safe and organised brickwork workshops Prepare tools, equipment and materials for practical sessions Support students during hands-on training and practical activities Assist in developing learners' basic bricklaying skills and confidence Monitor and maintain equipment and stock levels Requirements NVQ Level 2 in Brickwork (or above) Practical experience in bricklaying or construction Basic understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment Good communication and organisational skills Benefits (Summary) Local Government pension scheme 30 days annual leave + bank holidays Paid Christmas closure CPD and career progression opportunities Additional staff benefits and discounts Summary A practical support role ideal for someone with bricklaying experience looking to move away from site work into a more stable environment while helping develop the next generation of tradespeople.
