Project Engineer / Mechanical Project Engineer Braintree area | Salary Circa £35,000 + Benefits A growing manufacturer of air handling equipment is seeking a Project Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to manage projects from enquiry through to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from enquiry, quotation, and order through to delivery Review technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements Prepare costings, quotations, and commercial terms Liaise with sales, production, and customers throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate design drawings, production schedules, and materials procurement Monitor project progress, costs, and delivery timelines Manage contract documentation, variations, and change control Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer communication Ensure compliance with quality standards and company proceduresKey Skills (Search Keywords) Project Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Project Management Mechanical engineering / HVAC / Air Handling / Manufacturing Technical drawings, specifications, costings, quotations Project lifecycle, contracts, change control, procurement Stakeholder management (customers, production, sales) Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Experience HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) Experience in mechanical, HVAC, or manufacturing environment (preferred) Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesBenefits Salary £35,000 8.30 - 4.30 Monday to Friday with 30-minute lunch 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising with service Contributory pension scheme and Life assurance Employee assistance programme Free parking Candidates who require sponsorship will not be considered for this position Call Julia @ Prime Appointments for more infomation or apply via the link provided
