Apricus Resourcing is a specialist recruitment agency providing high-quality temporary staffing solutions within the health and social care sector. We are a growing business with a strong reputation for reliability and service, and we are now looking to strengthen our internal finance function as we scale. Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business on a part-time basis (15 hours per week). This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time working hours, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business. As Apricus Resourcing continues to expand, there is clear potential for this position to develop into a full-time role. Key Responsibilities * Processing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements * Assisting with weekly payroll coordination (including liaison with umbrella companies) * Raising and issuing client invoices * Credit control and monitoring aged debt * Bank reconciliations * Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets * Supporting month-end processes and reporting * Assisting with general administrative and finance tasks as required * Maintaining VAT Records Key Requirements * Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (preferred) * Familiarity with accounting software Xero * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Good organisational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively * Confident communication skills What We Offer * Flexible, part-time working (15 hours per week) * Opportunity to grow with the business as it scales * Clear pathway to a full-time position in the future * Supportive and collaborative working environment * Exposure to a growing recruitment business in a high-demand sector Location: Preston City Centre (Office Based Role) Hours: 15 hours per week (flexible working pattern) If you are interested please apply now or feel free to contact the office and speak with Evan Gilfoyle
