Fabric Technician Location: Central London Salary: Up to £42,000 + Overtime + Bonus Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (flexible working hours, based on completing 9 hours per day) Overview We are seeking an experienced Fabric Technician to join a team of 25 engineers, working across a diverse commercial portfolio including hotels, dental practices, retail, and restaurant environments. This is a client-facing role requiring a proactive approach to maintenance and strong all-round fabric skills. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric works * Complete general building maintenance including basic carpentry, painting & decorating, and minor repairs * Respond to reactive issues across multiple sites in a timely manner * Support engineering teams with maintenance tasks as required * Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations * Maintain a high standard of customer service when interacting with clients Requirements * Proven experience in a commercial fabric maintenance role * Strong all-round knowledge of building fabric maintenance * Experience delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence * Good communication skills and client-facing experience Package & Benefits * Salary up to £42,000 * Company van (business use only), fuel card, and mobile phone * Overtime available (typically paid as a lump sum depending on workload) * Performance-based company bonus * 20 days annual leave + bank holidays * Travel between jobs covered (travel home from final job not included)
