HGV Class 1 Night Drivers

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading client based in Rotherham. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team. Location: Rotherham, S66 Job Type: Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available Pay Rates: • £16.50 per hour (PAYE) • £18.49 per hour (Rolled Up Holiday Pay) Shift Patterns & Start Times: • Sunday to Friday • Start times between 20:00 – 00:00 • 5–6 shifts per week on a rota basis • Average shift length 10 hours • Double manned runs can be 14–15 hours The Role: • Trunking vehicle parts to depots across the UK (Depots are located from Glasgow to Southampton) • 1–2 drops per shift • Mixture of cage work, pallets and totes • Use of tail lift and pump truck for unloading • Vehicles are pre-loaded before shift start • Regular double manned runs required • No nights out required Requirements: • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years driving experience required • No maximum points, however only minor offences accepted (no DR/DG offences) • Valid CPC and Digi Card • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations • Must be flexible with start times and shift patterns • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work Benefits: • Ongoing, consistent work • Opportunity for temp to perm placement • Staff shop discount on vehicle parts once permanent • Supportive and well-organised transport operation To apply, please submit your CV or contact our team for more information
