Estimator (Joinery) Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 Start Date: ASAP Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: Romford The Opportunity An established and growing joinery business is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, with occasional client interaction. Key Responsibilities · Prepare accurate cost estimates based on architectural drawings and specifications · Interpret and analyze plans, elevations, and technical drawings · Complete detailed material take-offs · Liaise with internal teams and occasionally attend client meetings (including travel to London when required) · Maintain clear and organized documentation using standard office software Requirements · Minimum 3 years’ experience as a joinery estimator · Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings · Strong numerical and analytical skills · Confident working independently and within a team · Positive, proactive attitude · Comfortable in client-facing situations · Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word · Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location) Package & Benefits · Company pension (after 3 months) · Private health insurance (after 12 months) · Monthly mobile allowance · 20 days annual leave + bank holidays · Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day per year (up to 25 days)
