What You’ll Be Doing - Senior Engineer * Taking ownership of multiple production lines and driving performance * Leading and developing a small engineering team (2 engineers) * Getting stuck into hands-on electrical & mechanical fault finding * Working with Siemens PLCs (fault finding + programming) and some Mitsubishi * Driving continuous improvement projects – not just firefighting * Working closely with production to keep the site running efficiently * Embedding high standards through 5S and best practice engineering What We Want - Senior Engineer * A strong multi-skilled engineer (electrical bias) who can lead from the front * Solid background in food, FMCG, or fast-paced manufacturing * Confident with Siemens PLCs (non-negotiable) * Someone who has mentored, led, or stepped up in previous roles * A proactive mindset – fix problems properly, not temporarily * Comfortable working independently but also driving team performance What You’ll Get - Senior Engineer * Up to £55,000 salary * Company pension * Staff discount scheme * Free on-site parking * Monday–Friday days – no shifts, no weekends * A genuine opportunity to step up and make an impact Bottom Line - Senior Engineer If you’re a senior engineer ready to take ownership, lead a team, and improve a site, this is a standout opportunity in the Eccles area
