Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team, offering a supportive environment focused on quality vehicle diagnostics and servicing. Benefits: Competitive salary between £35,000 and £38,000 per annum, with performance-based progression Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with no weekend or evening work Generous holiday entitlement, including holiday plus bank holidays Access to the latest diagnostic equipment, including VAG Com / ODIS and other major dealer tools Modern workshop facilities with six ramps and a dedicated MOT bay Regular social events, including summer outings and Christmas functions Opportunities for ongoing training and career development within a professional team Supportive working environment with experienced management and colleaguesDuties as a Vehicle Technician: Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, utilising advanced diagnostic equipment Carry out routine servicing, MOT preparation, clutch replacements, and general repairs Use manufacturer and independent workshop experience to ensure high standards of work Maintain accurate records of all work completed and communicate effectively with colleagues Support the workshop team to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer service Contribute to maintaining the workshop’s high standards of quality and efficiencyRequirements: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within a dealership or independent workshop Strong diagnostic skills with experience using dealer diagnostic tools such as VAG Com / ODIS Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or IMI certification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Good problem-solving skills and a professional approach to work Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressureIf you are a motivated Vehicle Technician aspiring to develop your career in a reputable workshop offering a competitive package and a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.
