Sociology Teacher – Secondary School (Stanmore) Stanmore, North West London Start Date: ASAP Full-Time | Long-Term / Permanent Opportunity Competitive Daily Rate (dependent on experience) The Role: We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Stanmore seeking a passionate and dedicated Sociology Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Sociology across KS4 and KS5, with the potential to contribute to a thriving Humanities/Social Sciences department. The successful candidate will inspire students to think critically about society, culture, and social issues, while delivering engaging and high-quality lessons. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Sociology lessons across KS4 and KS5 Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Sociology at secondary level (KS4/KS5 essential) Strong subject knowledge and passion for Social Sciences Excellent classroom management skills Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities Why Join This School?
