Refrigeration Engineer (East Midlands/Birmingham) The Opportunity We’re looking for a skilled and driven Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing, forward-thinking engineering business operating across the UK. The Role * Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of refrigeration systems * Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner * Work across complex systems including chillers, process cooling, blast freezers, and cold rooms What We’re Looking For * F-Gas qualified with NVQ Level 2 (Level 3 or above desirable) * Strong experience working on commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems * Confident working with chillers and HFC/HFO refrigerants * Full UK driving licence Equipment You’ll Work On * Commercial & Industrial Refrigeration Systems * Process Cooling within Food & Beverage Manufacturing * Air & Water-Cooled Chillers * Spiral Chill & Freeze Systems * Cold Rooms & Freezer Rooms * Blast Chillers & Freezers * Condensing Units & Pack Systems Package & Benefits * 40 hours per week (door-to-door paid) * Overtime * On-call rota (approx. 1 in 7): * Standby allowance * Call-outs paid at enhanced rates * Company van (business & personal use) * Laptop and mobile device provided * 31 days holiday (including bank holidays) * Private healthcare scheme
