IT Network Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a  IT Network Specialist based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time temporary basis.  Summary of the IT Network Specialist role  Salary: £18.90 per hour  Location: Bedford Type of Contract: Temporary until 30.06.26 Hours: 37 hour working week  Responsibilities of the IT Network Specialist Lead in the installations, configuration and administration of active network hardware Carry out network monitoring and produce reports on availability and compliance Play a key role in efforts to build, optimise and modernise the internal network Lead network problem escalation and resolution Respond to service desk requests in a timely and efficient manner Support with developing policies and procedures Maintain adequate and organised stocks Report any unsafe equipment or practices Requirements for a successful IT Network Specialist Enhanced DBS Level 5 qualification in relevant computing field or networking qualification Strong understanding of IP routing concepts and core network architecture Strong understanding of enterprise level firewall technology and network security best practices Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively on own initiative Attention to detail About Allstaff Recruitment We’re an independent recruitment specialist based in Bedfordshire, supporting businesses across Bedford, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.
