We are currently recruiting passionate and committed Residential Child Support Workers to support young people within residential children’s homes and supported accommodation services. This is a highly rewarding role where you will support young people aged 14–18, many of whom have experienced challenging behaviours, autism and trauma-informed backgrounds, within a therapeutic care environment. Shift Pattern * 24-hour shifts: * 9:00am – 11:00pm + sleep-in * 7:00am – 9:30am (following day) * Approx. 7 shifts every 3 weeks Role Responsibilities * Support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs * Work within a therapeutic care framework * Build positive, consistent and trusting relationships * Promote independence, wellbeing and personal growth * Support daily routines, education and life skills * Work collaboratively with a dedicated care team What We Offer * Weekly pay * Ongoing and regular shift opportunities * Funded Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification * PRICE (Protecting Rights in a Caring Environment) training provided * A supportive team and varied working environments * The opportunity to make a genuine difference in young people’s lives Requirements * Minimum 6 months’ experience in one of the following: * Residential care * Schools * Youth work * Family support * Strong understanding of supporting young people with complex needs and behaviours * Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential) * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) * Minimum age: 21 years old Please note we do not accept sponsorship
