Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

This is a hands‑on, site-based opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance technician supporting a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operation. The role focuses on minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement across production assets. Client Details The business is a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality products into major consumer markets, operating from a modern, well-invested site in South Yorkshire. Description Key responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce recurring issues Work with production teams to prioritise work and maintain safe working practices Contribute to TPM activities, root cause analysis, and equipment upgrades Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with site safety standardsProfile The successful candidate: Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance technician within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment Safety-conscious, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a teamJob Offer What's on offer: Salary circa 45k Strong training and long-term development prospects Well-maintained plant with ongoing investment in equipment and engineering capability Secure role within a stable, established manufacturing business If you are a motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician looking to advance your career in Doncaster, we encourage you to apply and take the next step in your professional journey
