Job Title Purchasing Coordinator Salary £28,000 - £30,000 per annum Location Wrexham Introduction to the Company My cleint is a family-owned manufacturing business with over 100 years of history. The group operates across well-known brands and works with suppliers across Europe, China, and the US, offering real exposure to global supply chains. Role and Responsibilities * Raise and manage purchase orders * Expedite materials to keep supply on track * Track supplier performance and delivery timelines * Maintain accurate data in Sage and Excel * Support supplier reviews and contract tracking * Assist with stock control and materials planning * Work closely with internal teams across operations and production * Support new product activity and supplier onboarding * Monitor inventory levels and reduce excess stock * Help maintain SLAs and supplier records Key Requirements * Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role (or relevant degree) * Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables) * Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities * Good attention to detail * Confident working with data and systems * Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment * Sage X3 experience is useful but not essential * CIPS or working towards it is an advantage Benefits and Perks * Enhanced pension contribution * Health cash plan and employee support programme * Holiday increasing with service * Flexible and hybrid working options * Salary sacrifice schemes (tech, bikes, cars) * Enhanced family leave policies * Ongoing training and development * Wellbeing and financial support This is a fantastic opportunity to get into a stable, family run business with excellent local history and a continually evolving product range.
