Financial Controller

About the Business We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing business in Coventry. Working alongside the leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the finance function while leading and developing your own team. Main Duties: As a Financial Controller, your main duties include: * Partner with Finance and Management teams to provide support * Deliver accurate and timely corporate and internal financial reporting * Lead, develop, and support direct reports, contributing to succession planning * Perform SOX compliance testing and balance sheet reconciliations * Prepare and present key financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet * Oversee month-end close processes, including variance analysis and forecasting * Monitor and manage key financial KPIs, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable * Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and business processes * Liaise with external auditors to support year-end and interim audit processes * Undertake ad hoc duties as required Location / Office / Culture With a Coventry-based office and a hybrid working approach, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to split your time between home and office.
