Overview We are seeking a Microsoft Teams Specialist (Enterprise Voice) to support the transition from our existing telephony platform (OpenScape Voice) to Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice. Following an initial evaluation in which Microsoft Teams was selected as the preferred solution, this role will focus on progressing the design into a robust High‑Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Low‑Level Design (DLD). The role will provide technical leadership across enterprise voice design, including call plans, routing, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and phone hardware, ensuring the solution is fit for delivery and future operation. Responsibilities Design the migration from OpenScape Voice to Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice. Produce clear and comprehensive HLDs and DLDs for the enterprise voice solution. Design and configure call plans, call routing, dial plans, and voice policies. Design and integrate Session Border Controllers (SBCs) for Direct Routing. Assess and support Teams‑compatible phone hardware and endpoints. Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to clarify requirements and validate designs. Work independently within defined processes while contributing technical guidance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Microsoft certifications preferred Essential skills Knowledge of enterprise telephony concepts and Teams phone hardware. Ability to independently deliver enterprise voice designs. Desired skills Experience working with OpenScape Voice or similar telephony platforms. Experience supporting UC or telephony migration programmes. Experience Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice. Hands-on experience with SBCs, call plans, and call routing.
