Foreman – Civils (Highways Frameworks) 📍 Liverpool 💼 Permanent Position Procter Street are recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering works across local authority highway frameworks in the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman to join a stable, growing business with a strong pipeline of secured, local work—meaning no long-distance travel or working away. The Role As Foreman, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of highways and infrastructure schemes, overseeing site operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. Key Responsibilities * Supervising day-to-day site activities on highways and civils projects * Managing site teams, subcontractors, and plant * Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards * Coordinating works in line with programme requirements * Liaising with engineers, clients, and local authorities * Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress Requirements * Proven experience as a Foreman within civil engineering/highways * Strong knowledge of local authority highway frameworks * SSSTS or SMSTS certification * Good organisational and communication skills * Ability to lead teams and drive productivity on site * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Permanent, secure role with a reputable contractor * All projects based locally in Liverpool—no working away * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on long-term framework agreements
