Senior Associate - Risk (Risk Analyst) 📍 London (Fully Office-Based) 💰 £27,500 per annum We are currently seeking a Senior Associate - Risk to join a growing Risk function in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with exposure to operational and credit risk who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic banking environment. The Role You will support both Operational Risk and Credit Risk teams in analysing risk data, producing management information (MI), and assisting in the development of risk mitigation strategies. This is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure to key risk frameworks, reporting, and governance processes. Key Responsibilities Credit Risk Support Credit Risk Managers in producing MI for internal committees Assist in analysing credit risk data and supporting reporting requirements Operational Risk Assist in the development and reporting of the Bank's risk appetite framework in line with UK regulatory requirements Support the preparation of risk reporting including MI, parent reporting, and committee packs Assist with Near Miss / Loss data tracking and Key Indicator (KI) reporting Contribute to monthly and quarterly risk reporting cycles Take minutes for Risk Management Committee meetings, track actions, and ensure timely circulation Support audit-related activities and ensure follow-up actions are completed Assist in reviewing and maintaining risk policies and procedures Help ensure the effectiveness of risk governance and committee structures Key Stakeholders Work closely with teams across the London office Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation About You Basic understanding of UK banking regulations and risk frameworks Previous exposure to operational risk and/or credit risk is desirable Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and assess risk Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) What's on Offer Salary of £27,500 per annum Opportunity to gain broad exposure across Operational and Credit Risk Excellent platform for career development within Risk Full-time, office-based role in London
