Office Administrator Location: Tattenhall, Chester Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday Contract: 6‑month temporary contract - likely to be longer Job Type: Part-time About the Company Our client is a well‑established and growing business within the hygiene and facilities supply sector, operating from modern offices just outside Chester. About the Role We are seeking a reliable and highly organised Office Administrator to support day‑to‑day office and customer service operations. This part‑time, 6‑month temporary role would suit someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, can confidently juggle multiple tasks, and takes pride in accuracy and organisation. Working closely with sales, service, and operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive efficient, professional, and timely support. Key Responsibilities Answering and directing inbound phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Processing sales orders received via phone, email, and website Managing online account requests and supporting customer account setup Creating customer service tickets and following them through to completion Liaising closely with the service department to manage tickets and keep customers updated Assisting with accounts receivable tasks, including following up on due and overdue accounts Supporting the mobilisation of new customer contracts, including: Setting customers up on the ERP system and web portal Creating order lists on the website Importing delivery instructions into the delivery management platform Carrying out general office administration tasks as required Experience & Skills Required Previous experience in an office administration or customer service role Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of organisation and attention to detail Comfortable working across multiple systems (ERP, web portals, ticketing systems) Ability to prioritise tasks and see processes through to completion Confident, professional telephone manner What's on Offer Part‑time hours that suit work‑life balance Friendly, team‑oriented working environment Casual dress Free on‑site parkingThis role offers a dynamic and supportive working environment where organisational excellence is genuinely valued.
