Electrical Supervisor

Electrical Supervisor – On-going position Mech Tech Professionals are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our client's dynamic team to support plant operations, maintenance, shutdowns, and upgrades carried out in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment. Start Date: End of April 2026 Location: Newport, South Wales Shift Pattern/Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:35. (Basic 38 hours per week). Overtime may be available. Payment Methods: To be discussed Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and coordinate electrical activities on site, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently. * Manage teams of electricians, plan and allocate daily work, review permits and risk assessments and ensure compliance with strict safety standards. * Maintenance and installation of fire alarm systems. * PAT testing, including downloading and entering information into a database. * Maintenance and installation of CCTV systems and access control. * IT-related work, including network cabling and terminating, ASCOM Base station cabling and terminating, and telephone system maintenance. Requirements: * Relevant Trade Certs (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQs or equivalent) * CCNSG (Site Safety Passport) - essential * COMPEX certified * 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * IPAF certification * Relevant experience in a supervisory role * Experienced within the chemical or heavy industry How to apply If interested and available, please send an updated CV to the address below
